We’re hiring Captains!
MarineLab needs part time USCG captains to operate its fleet of USCG Inspected Passenger Vessels! Help MarineLab educate thousands of young people each year about the wonders and importance of our ocean environment.
Our groups snorkel only, no SCUBA diving
Flexible scheduling, weekends available
Day shifts only, no nights
All boat maintenance and fueling is handled by full time staff
Seasonal: Depending on the time of year we have 4-40+ hours available for part time Captains. Our busy season is February - June, with a second season from October - mid December
Requirements:
USCG Masters 25 ton near costal
Current First Aid & CPR or willingness to get certified within 30 days of hiring
Satisfactory evidence of participation in a Random Drug Testing Program
Enjoy working with children grades 5 - 12, teachers, and education staff
Be committed to marine conservation
Go through Level II background check

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
